Arimi works with both start-up companies and investors in the U.S. and Japan, helping them navigate legal issues and pursue business opportunities in new markets. She leverages her strong network of contacts to help Venture Best clients grow their companies around the world.
Arimi assists start-ups with corporate legal matters including entity formation and governance, as well as with transactional, regulatory, and employment issues. Her familiarity with various technical fields, and experience as a patent attorney both in the U.S. and Japan, also helps start-ups protect their intellectual properties, giving them a competitive advantage.
Before joining Venture Best, Arimi founded a U.S. law firm, organized as a LLC, and she handled a number of challenges faced by start-ups such as financing, accounting, tax, and HR issues. That experience provided her insight into the business process of her clients.
Arimi also assists Japanese companies that are seeking investment opportunities in the U.S. She connects those businesses with start-ups and early-stage companies that need investors, and guides them through the legal and regulatory issues involved.
