Brad’s clients include innovative start-ups and high-growth companies, and the venture funds and angels who invest in them. He provides sage counsel in the areas of corporate formation; financing; corporate governance; federal and state securities compliance matters; mergers and acquisitions; private placements and other private securities transactions; and a host of other complex transactional and securities law matters. Along with these services, he advises clients on all aspects of contract structuring, review, and negotiations. Brad understands what it means to take a company from idea to start-up, growth, and sale: he co-founded a corporate and transactional boutique law firm in 2008 and grew the firm until its acquisition in 2014.
Clients also turn to Brad for guidance on matters relating to the sale of cryptocurrencies and digital tokens. He publishes and speaks regularly on securities law compliance, including issues specifically related to the sale of cryptocurrencies. Brad also serves as general counsel to Financial Data Exchange, a special industry group comprised of major banks, data providers, and financial data aggregators.
