Grant works with early-stage companies to address their corporate and securities needs. He specializes in venture financing, fund formation, and general counsel services. His practice is tailored to the lifecycle of startups and growth companies.
Grant understands life as an entrepreneur because he has been running his own side hustles for as long as he can remember. From opening a lemonade stand and writing a neighborhood newsletter as a kid, to more recent ecommerce ventures including selling apparel, designing custom sportswear, and producing wooden prescription eyewear, Grant has always had a call to entrepreneurship. As it turns out, though, he is much better at helping other entrepreneurs on their journeys than running his own businesses.
With this passion for the entrepreneurship, Grant assists startups and investors in the following:
- Venture capital financing, both on the company-side and the investor-side
- M&A transactions
- Corporate transactions, including formations and commercial contracts
- Public benefit corporation formation and compliance
- Trademarks and intellectual property
- Real estate matters
In addition to his legal practice, Grant has served as an adjunct instructor of business law at multiple universities and continues to connect with entrepreneurs by presenting on legal topics at startup-focused events.
