As Practice Group Manager for Venture Best, Alisa manages the financial, operational, and administrative functions of the practice group. She works in collaboration with group leadership to set goals and budgets, implement technology solutions, identify staffing needs, and support professional development for attorneys and other professionals.
Before joining Michael Best, Alisa served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for venture law firm O&A, P.C., and its affiliates, investment firm Blue Heron Ventures, Inc., and StartupProgram.com, Inc. She previously worked for several AmLaw 200 law firms. Alisa’s experience also includes roles managing the General Counsel office for Oculus VR, and founding and leading Flying Kame, Inc., a business and corporate development consulting firm.
